Wholeness
We believe true wellness includes mental, emotional, physical, social, and personal well-being.
Our Story
Vitality Village exists to help people build healthier, more empowered lives through wellness education, personal development, community engagement, and leadership growth.
To empower individuals and communities with practical tools, supportive relationships, and transformative experiences that promote wellness, personal growth, leadership development, and lifelong learning.
A world where every individual has access to the resources, community, and support needed to live a healthy, purposeful, and empowered life.
What We Stand On
We believe true wellness includes mental, emotional, physical, social, and personal well-being.
Everyone deserves resources, opportunities, and support regardless of background or circumstance.
Every individual has value and deserves to be heard, empowered, and encouraged to lead.
Meaningful connections create stronger individuals, families, and communities.
We operate with honesty, transparency, accountability, and service.
A Core Part of Who We Are
In a world filled with constant notifications, busy schedules, and increasing stress, nature offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and restore balance. Research consistently shows that time outdoors reduces stress, improves mood, enhances focus, supports physical health, and strengthens overall well-being.
Whether it's a walk through a local park, gardening, hiking a trail, or simply feeling the warmth of the sun, nature reminds us that growth, resilience, and healing are natural parts of life.
Our commitment to outdoor wellness runs through everything we do. Through the Wilderness Wellness Initiative, community walks, gardening programs, and outdoor experiences, we encourage individuals and families to step away from distractions, embrace movement, build meaningful connections, and rediscover the restorative power of nature.
We aren't just creating programs. We're helping people build lifelong habits that support healthier minds, stronger bodies, and deeper connections to themselves, their communities, and the natural world.
Most wellness organizations focus on one area. We connect them.
We help people grow personally, professionally, and socially through a connected ecosystem of programs and experiences.
What We've Built
Vitality Village's mission lives in what we actually do. Below are some of the partnerships and community initiatives we've been part of, along with the organizations and people who've made them possible.
When the pandemic disrupted civic engagement, Vitality Village hosted nonpartisan Zoom platforms for community organizations across Cobb County. We partnered with the Mableton Improvement Coalition, the Austell Community Task Force, and the Powder Springs Community Task Force to host candidate forums, debates, town halls, and informational sessions. Over 4,700 participants joined these gatherings combined, ensuring people stayed connected and informed during a critical season.
When high school seniors couldn't physically visit college campuses during COVID-19, we partnered with STING, Inc. to provide the technology infrastructure for virtual college tours. Students continued their college search and decision-making process without delay.
We've served as the behind-the-scenes technology partners for NAMI Atlanta webinars, supporting mental health awareness, education, and resources for the greater Atlanta community.
We host Family Night In events at Solomon's Temple Women's Shelter, where we provide dinner, games, facials, toiletries, and gifts for women and children. The goal is simple: bring connection, care, and joy to families during a vulnerable season of their lives.
Each year, we partner with Silver Linings Village in South Fulton to host a Veterans Day picnic and BBQ on a farm. The day brings veterans together for connection, celebration, outdoor time, and a game day in their honor.
Our founder Shundrika Williams serves on the board of the Maritza McClendon Foundation, founded by Maritza McClendon, the first Black person to win an Olympic medal for swimming. The foundation teaches Black and brown children to swim and provides them with the basic gear they need to begin, including swimsuits, goggles, and swim caps.
What started as a community fundraiser to help one young woman attend college without a laptop became a drive that provided laptops for five college-bound students. When the village rallies, things multiply.
